Portsmouth City Basketball Club is a not-for-profit local community club run by volunteer-qualified, enthusiastic, local coaches passionate about basketball.

Although Portsmouth has a long basketball history, the youth structure has been neglected recently. We are trying to build an infrastructure and pathway for local children to participate in fun basketball sessions and compete in established local and national leagues.

At present we run training sessions 5 days a week covering ages from Pre School to Year 11 with active plans to run sessions for over 16s from September.

We currently have over 150 children registered and actively playing basketball each week and our main venues are Admiral Lord Nelson School and Portsmouth College. For the upcoming 22/23 season we have entered boys U14 and U16 teams into the Basket England National League.

The club is self-funded presently but as we grow, we are finding more and more expenses are required to take the club to the next level. Your support and contribution no matter how small help massively.
